The Assembly's State of the Region Report measures how the region is progressing towards becoming more sustainable across a wide range of indicators. The Office for National Statistics produces regional trends reports for the East Midlands which provide a comprehensive range of official statistics on the region. It has also produced a census profile for the East Midlands, and a regional profile.
