This resource is made available by the Improvement and Development Agency for local government (IDeA) ahead of the anticipated Government legislation in 2008 which would place a duty on local authorities to carry out local economic assessments.
It presents a nine step guide, along with case studies, to help local authorities in preparing and carrying out local economic assessments.
