Population and Migration Statistics PDF Print E-mail
This collection presents the latest releases of national statistics on migration and population produced by Office for National Statistics, Department for Work and Pensions and the Home Office.

2007 Mid-year Population Estimates for the UK are published and include data for local authorities in the UK. The key points from the latest release are:

• UK population grows to 60,975,000 in mid-2007
• This is an increase of 388,000 (0.6 per cent) on mid-2006.
