This is a varied role working within emda's strategic policy team, where you will help to deliver a joined-up approach to regional policy and strategy formulation. A key aspect of this role will be contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of the Regional Strategy. In addition to this you will monitor regional policy developments, support partners in strategy formation, and co-ordinate regional policy development projects relating to the Regional Strategy. You will have been involved in policy/strategic planning work and have a good understanding of policy formulation and evaluation techniques. You will also be able to analyse complex information for policy implications and have experience of preparing briefing papers for a range of audiences. As an experienced communicator, you will be expected to work with a wide range of region stakeholders to develop regional policy. You will also have an interest and/or familiarity with economic development and regional delivery.
