Commissioned by the Department of Health, APHO has been reviewing the data and information needs of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) process. This work has resulted in the five-part APHO Resource Pack.
The JSNA, Joint Strategic Needs Assessment, describes a process that identifies current and future health and wellbeing needs in light of existing services, and informs future service planning taking into account evidence of effectiveness."
The JSNA Resource Pack includes the core dataset and guidance on statistical validity, projection methods, data sharing and health inequalities.
