The East Midlands ONS Regional Statisticians team have produced this analysis to both highlight the sources of, and show headline results from, population and migration data. There is no one data source that allows us to fully understand population change and migration, however this analysis investigates 6 key sources of data that can help piece together a picture of migration and the contributors to population change.
